Abstract

"Soy y Existo" aims to give visibility to a social problem that has been ignored by the authorities and citizens for many years. The fact that there are no official data on the current number of homeless people living on the street is a warning. The omission of the problem leads to ignorance that leads to no solution. This project is based on the reality of Guayaquil but can be replicated in any other city. The proposal for the "Creation of a non-profit organization aimed at homeless people" seeks to validate the feasibility, viability and verify its potential in terms of social entrepreneurships. The problem was studied and the need for the study was justified. A mixed cross-sectional investigation of an exploratory scope was carried out, considering qualitative and quantitative information on the knowledge of homelessness and the probabilities of donation the population of the city of Guayaquil has. After evaluating the results, the project continued with the external environment analysis and the industry analysis using the essential tools of PESTEL and Porter's Five Forces. The foundations on which the company will be based as its mission, vision, values, objectives and organic matrix organizational structure were developed. The products and services of the project were also developed in detail, expanding its exposure in the Social Lean Canvas Business Model. Several strategies were proposed for the Marketing Plan such as STP, SWOT, Marketing Mix together with the Financial Plan where ratios and more indicators of its beneficial profitability were analysed, obtaining an IRR of 57%, TMAR of 12.37%, NPV of $76,074.22 USD and 3-year payback.
