Abstract

Worldwide, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy are one of the main causes of maternal and neonatal illness and death, more than 20% of maternal deaths are caused by hypertensive problems due to its high maternal-fetal lethality rate was estimated as a target of study: Categorize perinatal complications in patients with hypertensive disease of pregnancy at the Matilde Hidalgo de Procel Hospital during the 2020 period and determine the perinatal complications that occur in patients with hypertensive disease of pregnancy and relate perinatal complications with parity for patients with hypertensive disease of pregnancy at the Matilde Hidalgo de Procel Hospital during the 2020 period. The methodology with quantitative and descriptive variables. The results obtained in the study carried out were that the recurrent perinatal complication in pregnant women with a Hypertensive State of Pregnancy (HES) is prematurity, followed by IUGR and stillbirth; the patients with the highest risk by age group were those aged 11 to 20 years with a high rate of intrauterine growth retardation. Regarding the parity of the patients vs the perinatal complications, it was found that the patients with 2 parity presented greater perinatal complications.
