dc.descriptionEl presente trabajo de titulación tiene como propósito el análisis y el comportamiento de la residencia Macías Villamar. La estructura tiene tres pisos con marcadas deficiencias estructurales. Dicha edificación, sufrió durante el pasado sismo del 16 de abril de 2016, generando así fisuras en algunas de sus columnas. Se hace un estudio de la estructura para evaluar su desempeño sísmico y proponer un sistema de rehabilitación dada a las deficiencias que tiene, la propuesta son muros especiales de hormigón armado (H.A) que tienen como función rigidizar la estructura para aliviar el problema. Se realizará el cálculo de acero, hormigón y refuerzos cumpliendo las normativas según el ACI 318-19 para el diseño de muros especiales y haciendo revisión según la norma ASCE 41-17 del capítulo 10 de muros estructurales, en el diseño de muros se realizará una microzonificación para saber que tipo de suelo tiene dicha localidad y se ejecutará el espectro de diseño según el tipo de suelo en la zona según la norma NEC-15.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this degree work is the analysis and behavior of the Macías Villamar residence, a three-story structure with structural deficiencies. This building suffered during the last earthquake of April 16, 2016 and generated cracks in some of its columns. The study of this structure is made to propose a rehabilitation system of the same, such proposal are special walls or reinforced concrete walls (H. A) that have the function of stiffening the structure, thus generating a solution to the problem, the calculation of steel, concrete and reinforcements will be made in compliance with the regulations according to ACI 318-19 for the design of special walls and making a review according to ASCE 41-17 of chapter 10 of structural walls, In the design of walls, a micro-zoning will be performed to know the type of soil in that location and the design spectrum will be executed according to the type of soil in that area according to NEC-15en_US
