Sistema de validación para el ingreso de productos reglamentados a la provincia de Galápagos.

Abstract

The validation process for the entry of regulated products for the Galapagos province is carried out manually when the traveler arrives at the Guayaquil or Quito airport and generates some inconveniences. The ABG requires the automation of said process, therefore, the implementation of a responsive web system was proposed to generate the authorization for the entry of regulated products. Exploratory research, qualitative approach and interview were used as data collection technique. From the representatives of the ABG it was learned that the application should be developed in PHP and MySQL and that it be web, so that it is in accordance with the system that is managed in the entity; The way in which the product entry control process is carried out was known, and among the problems that occur at airports, the possible entry of products that can cause health problems was mentioned. The elimination of the use of paper, storage of information, reports, transparency of the registration process was pointed out as a benefit. It was concluded that this project offers travelers the necessary information on the requirements for entering the islands and the generation of the form. It is recommended for future implementations, the creation of a mobile application, an email notification system, generate and send newsletters to users, expand the catalog of reports, integration with other tools.
