Percepciones de violencia intrafamiliar de mujeres que laboran en las florícolas del cantón Cayambe en el año 2021.

Abstract

Domestic violence is a problem that has physical and psychological consequences that can be deadly and that affects not only the victim but society in general. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to reveal the perceptions of the women workers of the floriculture of the Cayambe canton in the year 2021, about intra-family violence, in order to make the problem visible within the company. Through an inquiry method that focuses on quantitative characteristics, it is planned to measure the perception of abuse in the family based on precise data from key information sources such as the workers of a florist organization in the state of Cayambe. Having as results of the survey applied to a sample of 95 workers of a flower grower of the mentioned canton, the majority indicated that they thought that these arose from physical (37%) and verbal (37%) aggressive behaviors, followed by "deprivation of liberty ”with 16% and 10% reporting sexual violence as perceived abuse, in the same way 37% attributed domestic violence to the machismo that is currently experienced in Ecuador; while 26% attributed jealousy as another determining factor and 21% attributed alcohol and 16% attributed the phenomenon to economic inconvenience. Where it was concluded that the determining factors of domestic violence are based on male vanity, jealousy, economic difficulties and alcohol consumption.
