Estado del arte del desarrollo investigativo de grado para la producción del conocimiento en torno al femicidio en la región costa del Ecuador durante los años 2014 - 2020.

Abstract

The present investigation arises after showing the vast production of existing knowledge on the problem of femicide in the geographical region of the Ecuadorian coast, an area statistically marked by the high rate of cases of femicide, a situation that has not been reduced despite the presence of these investigations, nor by the establishment of normative frameworks, so the purpose of this work is to respond to the absence of systematicity and reflection on investigative articles related to the problem by the academic community, through the enlargement of The state of the art in the investigative development of degree works arranged from 2014, since femicide was classifies as a crime on this date within the COPC until 2020. Two theories were selected from this work, the hermeneutical theory and the gender theory which have made it possible to carry out a critical analysis on the subject having 41 degrees thesis from 11 universities with careers in the social sciences as a sample. Regarding methodology, an investigation was carried out with a mixed approach, descriptive research level and the use of the document review technique, together with three analytical sheets corresponding to the information collection instruments. The results of this research reveals the evolution on femicide’s problems, these from an interdisciplinary perspective, in which Social Work is positioned as one of the prominent professions for the primary intervention of this social phenomenon from a gender perspective.
