¿Qué nos enseña el psicoanálisis en relación al cuidado de los infantes maltratados que viven en casas de acogida?.

Abstract

This research work proposes a study of the role of care provided in shelter homes in Ecuador to children and adolescents who have been separated from their families after having been victims of abuse. For this priority care group, sometimes the intervention of the government - through its various public and private institutions - may represent an opportunity to receive a care that should go beyond the satisfaction of the needs of a biological body, a humanized care aimed at the subjectivity of this being. In this sense, it seems that it is not enough to fulfill a role to guarantee the rights of children and adolescents or to carry out an institutional objective; the interventions of each of the professionals must be aimed at rescuing the place of the particularity of each child or adolescent living within the system. Therefore, a study from a psychoanalytical approach is proposed to incorporate the child subject, his or her life history, desires, interests and concerns within an institutional space.
