Diseño y simulación de una red FTTH sobre GPON y la factibilidad de implementar el servicio de banda ancha en Monte Sinaí.

Abstract

The present investigation foresees that the FTTH service of a GPON network is available to the residents of various sectors of Mount Sinaí in the city of Guayaquil, since in many sectors of this cooperative they still do not have a service worth consuming and at a cost achievable for these low-income people. Even more so than at present classes are held virtually and not in person and many or all households need broadband internet service. It raises the basic characteristics for the design and creation of backbone networks that can supply approximately one thousand users in the Mount Sinai sector. Subsequently, the simulation will be carried out using the Optisystem program, for the verification of data and correctly drawn links. Finally, data will be checked for the correct link of this backbone network, starting from the central node of CNT in La Casuarina, occupying the service offered by the CNT company, which in this case would be the most profitable for this project that would be to help humble people from the Mount Sinai sector.
