Abstract

The fourth Industrial Revolution and the scientific discoveries advance exponentially, and it is undeniable that this growth must be accompanied by a legal framework that regulates the generation, appropriation and transmission of knowledge. For this, this dissertation addresses each of these points in a specific way, first the generation of knowledge and its relationship with Labor Law is analyzed. It seeks to clarify the effects that the industrial revolutions had on Labor Law, to estimate the effects or the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The second point is going to address the parts of appropriation and transmission of knowledge. Countries that, within their policies or legislation, fail to adapt to the changes brought about by the fourth industrial revolution, are rejected by the countries that do and that seek possible alliances to boost the economy. For this reason, it is important to define the protection mechanisms of this knowledge, for this purpose, Intellectual Property and the use of patent license contracts will be studied. Finally, some recommendations are suggested so that the country can adapt its labor regulations to the dynamic and dizzying demands and challenges presented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
