Control de categorías migratorias que incide en la permanencia dentro de la provincia de Galápagos.

Abstract

The research work I presented "Control Of Migratory Categories That Affects The Permanence Within The Province Of Galapagos" arises in that the Constitution of Ecuador establishes that the province of Galapagos will have a special regime and that for the protection of this special district they will be limited the rights of internal migration, work or any public or private activity that affects the island ecosystems, any person who enters, or remains in the Province of Galapagos must legalize their migratory situation in accordance with the migratory categories contemplated in the Organic Law of the Special Regime of Galapagos: Art. 40.- Permanent Resident, Art. 41.- Temporary Resident, Art 42.-Passer-by, Art. 43.- Tourist. Entering or staying in the province of Galapagos without being qualified in one of the migratory categories established by the Law, described in previous lines, entails non-compliance in which a national or foreign citizen is subject to sanctions indicated in Art. 95, for immigration offenses. Infractions that are not categorized as minor, serious and very serious, in the Organic Law of the Special Regime of Galapagos, in its Regulations and Ordinance. Fulfilling the responsibility of administering migration control in the islands, the Governing Council of the Special Regime of Galapagos, establishing administrative sanctioning procedures, for the irregular entry or stay in the island territory.
