Abstract

Manta is a city belonging to the province of Manabí that has several tourist attractions such as the Pacoche Forest, Casa Rosada, Cancebi Museum, San Mateo Beach among others, being one of the most important ports for Ecuador, this city is emerging as a potential accessible tourist destination, that is why the objective of this degree work focuses on a proposal for an accessible tourist product that allows the city to become a striking and important destination that is taken into account by tourists at the national and international. For this, the research has been based on the study of the preferences and needs of the target market as well as the study of the capacity and level of accessibility that the city has to receive people with reduced mobility. For the market study, a survey has been carried out with objective questions that will help to know which would be the preferred places to visit, how many days they would like to visit the city and what activities they would like to carry out in the same way, improvements that could be made in the city to achieve the desired degree of accessibility. Therefore, it is expected that the results obtained in the research will be a source of information so that the agents that must intervene can achieve a degree of accessibility greater than or equal to that of other model countries such as Brazil and Spain that already apply accessibility in the packages. tourism offered to people in the group with reduced mobility and that Manta is recognized nationally and internationally as an accessible tourist offer for people with reduced mobility and that it is a source of income for the host community.
