dc.descriptionThe present study was carried out based on the application of different research tools to determine attitudes that define the behavior of the organic rice consumer. The research was based on analyzing and describing the behavior of consumers of organic rice. The theoretical framework was developed, and the problem was described to have a clearer perspective about what it is trying to convey. Surveys were conducted with a group of people who meet the profile of the target consumer and interviews with those professionals who are dedicated to the production of conventional and / or organic rice. The results of the investigations carried out are described in a synthesized way, highlighting the most important results to be able to provide relevant information to the interested parties. Likewise, the future lines of research that may be opened from this study are detailed and the conclusions and recommendations obtained from the results of the research are included. The investigation also includes the theorical concept of some important subjects in the market area, such as, marketing mix, investigation research, the offer analysis, distribution channels and sales definition. There are also other technical areas that needed to be described as well, such as the cultivation of organic products, the production, and the department of agriculture, which explains the behavior of the other components of the organic market.en_US
