Diseño de catálogo ilustrado de casas construidas en el primer periodo (1896-1945) que son consideradas Patrimonio Cultural del Ecuador, ubicadas en el Centro Histórico de Zaruma, 2020.

Abstract

In the present work of titling is developed a catalog that contains illustrations of the houses built in the first period (1896 - 1945) that are considered Cultural Heritage of Ecuador located in the Historic Center of Zaruma. For the development of the project, a documentary investigation is carried out to gather information about Zaruma, their historic center and about the Patrimonial houses. In the same way, a descriptive investigation is carried out with a qualitative approach where interviews with graphic design and architecture professionals who have knowledge of the subject are used in order to select the most representative heritage houses of Zaruma and define design criteria to develop different proposals for illustrations that are then evaluated individually. The purpose of the thesis project is to show and preserve the identity of Zaruma through a graphic record of the heritage houses allowing readers to visualize in a different way every detail that makes the houses that are an icon of the city unique.
