Abstract

This research aims to analyse the behaviour of Ecuador's aquaculture exportable supply specifically of the shrimp Litopenaeus Vannamei low the effects of climate variability, taking the incidence of surface temperature of the sea , the ambient temperature, the rainfall on the total pounds exported and the total FOBUDS that these generated. The relationship between these variables is presented by means of a statistical analysis and where the correlation that exists between them is reflected. In addition, an internal and external analysis of the shrimp sector is carried out in Ecuador using the tools known as FODA and PESTEL, which aims to know the current environment in which the sector is developing, in this way it will have the ability to recognize industry behavior in the different areas that make up tools through negative and positive perspectives. On the other hand, the methodology of the work is based on an analyticalsynthetic method under a mixed, quantitative and deductive approach, using information from primary and secondary sources, with the research line of a sectoral and situational analysis of the macroeconomics and micro-environment of the economic sectors. The conduct of the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the variables seeks to identify the impact and the relationship between the variables of climate change and the behavior of the exportable supply.
