| dc.description | A lo largo de la historia, la figura del monstruo ha estado presente de forma constante en la sociedad, abarcando desde los seres horrendos físicamente hasta los humanos que obran por fuera de las convenciones sociales. Es esta última figura en la que se centra este trabajo, el cual analiza en las novelas Nefando y Mandíbula de Mónica Ojeda la humanidad monstruosa, las cuales se alejan del concepto del monstruo como un ser híbrido o de apariencia terrorífica, para presentarlo como un ser que se entrega a las formas primitivas de su naturaleza, dándole rienda suelta a los sentimientos e impulsos oscuros que se encuentran en el ser humano y que la sociedad rechaza. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Throughout history, the figure of the monster has been constantly present in society, taking into account physically horrible beings as well as humans that act against or away from social conventions. It is this last figure that this essay explores, analyzing Monica Ojeda’s novels Nefando and MandÍbula, which step away from the concept of monster as a hybrid or terrifying being, and instead present it as a human being that surrenders to his most primitive nature, unleashing the dark feelings and impulses that society rejects as a constitutional part of the human essence. | en_US |
