Abstract

In order to strengthen or complement the teaching-learning process of phonological consciousness and avoid future language disorders in the child, an interactive application for mobile devices (tablet) with operating system was developed Android and we call it the name "Delphys App". It should be emphasized that for the implementation of the application "Delphys app", an investigation was carried out on the pedagogical methods concerning the phonological awareness that the teachers use in the area of language of the School of Particular basic education France and thus to be able to develop this application based on these methods. Delphys App is developed to provide a support tool during the learning process of phonological awareness, that is, to be able to identify the sounds of each letter of the alphabet in a dynamic and entertaining way, with the help of multimedia resources and interactive activities. It was also developed in the Unity software with a conexion to MySQL database, where the grades obtained from the child are stored. Once the development of this application was completed, the testing process was implemented in the Particular Basic Education France school, in which children from the 1st and 2nd year of basic education with ages 5 and 6 years old participated with the objective of verifying if the mobile application served as a complement in the learning process of phonological awareness and that finally positive results were obtained.
