El Edecán de la Reina.

Abstract

In the present work, "Edecán de la Reina", an analysis of a case of Obsessive Neurosis was made. The anailis of the case was made from the psychoanalytic theory, which facilitated the interpretation by means of the clinical method or case study method. Christopher, a man in his adult age who will avoid the dream and life path of his life to face the imminent diagnosis of obsession. Throughout the analysis several arguments were presented to support this claim. The name of the case referred us to a crucial dream where the subject takes the position of the queen's aide-de-camp, a clear representation of his mother whom he follows in a crusade of silence and not proceedings of family mourning in an attempt to keep a deceased father present. The discomfort of the subject led to his inability to communicate with others procuring a confinement and outbursts of anger that can not explain. These events lead him to wonder about the reason behind his symptom and spin a series of dreams that take on great significance.
