Abstract

The present proposal relates an investigation to 6 mothers of children between 1 to 3 years of age on parenting styles where information of each case is gathered through semi-structured interviews to mothers and care educators knowing their care and behavior inside and outside of home. The children in question attend a center for child development (CDI) in “Canton Daule” and among the variables to investigate and diagnose is the affective bond, the upbringing of the children and the notion of the rights of the children. For the diagnosis we will study the legal norms that guarantee the rights of the children, we will also analyze theories of several recognized authors in the subject with the aim of being able to contribute in cases with concepts, theories and methodologies. This proposal was made in order to improve the inappropriate parenting styles towards these children, influencing a parenting framed in good treatment.
