Diagnóstico situacional del ámbito logístico y financiero del Puerto Marítimo "Libertador Bolívar".

Abstract

The research study proposed in the current document called Situational diagnosis of the logistic and financial area of the Libertador Bolívar Seaport is focused on determining the aspects that have caused this Ecuadorian port to be located in the national and regional context; Within this document, each of the elements that make up the central research problem are established, so that we can know what are the reasons that cause it. In the second chapter the theoretical references necessary to carry out the situational diagnosis in a later chapter are collected, as well as the way in which it is conformed in the Ecuadorian port system and specifically the Port of Guayaquil. A field study was used in which information was collected from professionals who develop or have developed their activities in the Ecuadorian maritime sector, as well as in the management of CONTECON. Finally, chapter four establishes a diagnosis of the Port of Guayaquil by analyzing internal and external factors, as well as using a comparative analysis with other similar ports.
