Abstract

The Decentralized Government of Duran is in a process of entrepreneurship and renovation of the canton of Duran, to enhance its tourist and economic situation. Based on this stated objective, the Government has been implementing several programs, which are characterized in spaces of different uses, as educational, complementary and recreational spaces, promoting the relationship between them. One of the programs that you want to implement is the design of a Library Park where educational, cultural and recreational activities are combined, becoming a tourist attraction and iconic for the canton itself. Within the park design, it raises three parts: the first part is a recreational area with green spaces is designed to be identified as the Library Park, where people can carry out their educational and recreational activities at the same time. As a second part, a multipurpose court is presented within the field, which is used to maintain the current use of the land and to provide more recreational areas for the students that circulate in the sector. Finally, the third part of the project , which is destined for the Public Library, where the libraries, general and children’s, are located, which has areas of research and reading. It also has complementary spaces such as a cafeteria, bookshop; and service and administration spaces.
